USING THE WORKBENCH
Terms of use
Last updated: October 3, 2026
JSONWorkbench is a free tool for inspecting and formatting JSON. Use the output thoughtfully, especially when it affects another system.
What is provided
You may use this website for personal or professional document formatting. No account or paid subscription is required. The tool accepts standard JSON within its published limits. Availability and features may change, and the site does not provide a service-level guarantee.
Your documents and responsibility
You remain responsible for the documents you enter, the right to process them and how you use the resulting files. Review output before replacing a configuration, submitting data to an API or using it in a production system. Keep an original copy of important documents. Validation checks syntax and the tool’s safeguards, not your application’s schema or business requirements.
Limitations
The tool is provided as available, without a guarantee that it will meet every requirement or be free from errors. We do not promise that another parser will interpret all numbers or keys in the same way. The safe-number safeguard and numeric-token preservation reduce certain formatting risks but do not replace an end-to-end check in your target system.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses caused by relying on the tool or by interruptions in its availability. These terms do not exclude rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Use the site responsibly
Do not interfere with the hosting service, attempt to access systems without authorization or use the site in a way that violates applicable law. You do not transfer ownership of your JSON to the operator by using this tool.
